The European passport for a pet

There is a new EU-passport for pets. This document is legal for the whole European Union, all the document, certificates, traveling documents and papers are replaced. This will be the only legal obligated traveling document for dogs, cats and otter small animals who go over the border within Europe. These obligation applies from July 2004  and is legal for all (25) EU-countries  incl. all in between states. This European passport will only be given by a veterinarian. You have to pay for this.

When do you need a European passport?

You will need a European passport when you take your pet to a other country. Of course the vet. and the government hopes that you will apply for one even if you don't need one, but this all depends on yourself, it is not the price, because it is not expensive.

The costs are for clients EUR 4,50 and not-clients EUR 10,50.
